Step 2: The Stripping

The clean up and sort out. It was like the last owners put grease on the bike and then dragged the bike in the sand then added more grease only to do it again but never took the time to clean the old grease off. After a few hours they look good as new.

I stripped every part washed, cleaned and treated the parts. I washed all the grease off using thinners and a brush and then washed everything in dish soap water. I rinsed it all with water and then towel dried it. When it had dried fully I coated all the moving parts with WD40 to stop rust while I do the build. I will grease all moving parts when it comes to adding them to the bike for the final build. I then selected what I am going to use for this build.

I selected the best of the used parts that I wanted for the trike after inspecting it all and making sure it was all in good working order.
